There are many times in your life you would want stay awake to complete something. It could be to finish your assignment, study for tomorrow's test and so on...
Depending on your creativity on how to stay awake, these are what I usually do:
1. Drink caffeine beverage
- Yes, it works but not guaranteed. Caffeine simulates your mind you make you more awake. Your brain might not be working properly however.
2. Take deep breath. Have a walk.
- Sometimes even though I was awake, I find myself starring at a blank screen. I find it quite effective to take a "cold" walk outside. What I usually do is to I empty my bin as this will make me walk outside for a bit whilst taking some fresh air to clear up my mind.
3. Do some yoga.
- This correlates with point no.2 as doing some yoga postures will make you do some deep breathing exercises. I think doing yoga is really good for your mind. It will reduce stress too! Meditate is another alternative.
4. Go to sleep.
- And yes!!! You should plan for your task properly and try avoid cramping things last minute! So if you're tired go to sleep and make sure you spend your time wisely tomorrow morning.
